What is Sylhet Citizen Charter App?

Sylhet Citizen Charter is an android, iOS and web based application for the citizen of Sylhet City Corporation. The main objective of the application is to provide different services to the citizens of Sylhet City Corporation on 24x7 basis. Sylhet Citizen Charter introduces automation and implementation of integrated services with Revenue Assurance System (automated Billing System) of SCC to provide ease of making bill payment, holding tax payment, checking bill status, adding different services, raising complaints for citizens of SCC.

Can anyone use Sylhet Citizen Charter App?

This app is developed only for the citizen of Sylhet City Corporation. The clients of SCC from Bangladesh or overseas can use this app to make payments to SCC.

What can I do with this app?

If you are a citizen of SCC, you can pay your water bill, holding tax, trade license fee (upcoming feature), rent of SCC shops/billboards (upcoming feature), apply for new services, raise your complaints through this app.

How to download the app?

Simply look for “Sylhet Citizen Charter” application in Play Store or iTunes to download the app or you can log into https://revenue.scc.gov.bd/ to browse the app.

How can I pay my water bill through this App?

To pay your water bill-

  1. Log in to your account with your user name and password
  2. Tap on “Pay Now”
  3. Select “Water Bill”
  4. Type your bill number
  5. Tap on “Search”. You will be able to see your bill
  6. Click on “Pay”. You will be redirected to the page of BRAC Bank
  7. Click on “Submit”

How can I pay my holding tax through this App?

To pay your holding tax-

  1. Log in to your account with your user name and password
  2. Tap on “Pay Now”
  3. Select “Holding Tax”
  4. Type your bill number
  5. Tap on “Search”. You will be able to see your bill
  6. Click on “Pay”. You will be redirected to the page of BRAC Bank
  7. Click on “Submit”

What are the upcoming features of this app? ?

We are in the process of integrating multiple services provided by Sylhet City Corporation into this platform. Such as-

  • Applying for Birth Certificate, Trade License, Tender etc.
  • Submission of rental applications for Shops/bill boards etc. supervised by SCC
  • Checking all application status
  • Checking complaints status
  • Receiving any notice issued by Sylhet City Corporation
  • Automated payment reminder before due date
  • Introducing news feed by Sylhet City Corporation etc.

What does the “Bill Status” option mean?

By clicking on” Bill Status” Option, you can see your Paid/Unpaid bill history-

  • Log in to your account with your user name and password
  • Tap on “Bill status”
  • Select “Services”
  • Enter your Customer Id
  • Click on “Search”

How can I add a new Service to my service list?

To add a new service to your service list-

  • Log in to your account with your user name and password
  • Tap on “My Services”
  • Tap on “Add Services”
  • Select Service
  • Enter your Invoice/Bill ID or Client ID/Account No
  • Click on search
  • Add your specific service

Why am I not able to apply for New services through mobile app?

This feature is only available on web version of the application. To apply for a new service-

  • Log in to your account with your user name and password
  • Click on “New Application”
  • Choose your required service
  • Fill up the application form
  • Click on “submit”

Can I raise my complaint through this app?

Yes. You can lodge complaints regarding any problem you encounter, day in and day out within Sylhet City Corporation area. To raise your complaint -

  • log in to your account with your user name and password
  • tap on “Complaint”
  • click on “New Complaint”
  • select service list
  • write down your complaint in the “complaint” field
  • click on “Choose file” if you want to submit any document/file as an evidence to the complaint
  • click on “Submit”

Can I check my complaint Status through this app?

The feature is not yet available. Hopefully it will be added very soon.

Is there any transaction fee associated with SCC app?

No. We are not charging any transaction fee to our subscribers while making payment through SCC app.
